bamboo

Although I love bamboo I have never intended to use it for making the tea scoops. They are traditionally made from bamboo but as it is not naturally growing here I do not use it. But my friend was decorating his new tea studio and kindly gave me some bamboo off cuts. So I made my first bamboo scoop. It is very simple. I will probably make some more as I like it and would like to work with the material some more. Although bamboo is naturally hollow it still needs some carving and sanding.
